Objectives
The objectives of the platform:
- Network and coordinate all current initiatives in the field of FOSS in Luxembourg
- Promote and support the use of FOSS on all fields (economy, education, health, research etc.) in companies of the private and public sector
- Accompany the change related to the emergence of FOSS in all fields
- Accompany and promote IT services suppliers in the field of FOSS
- Create, launch and support national and international research projects in the field of FOSS
- Create a competence centre for FOSS and related licensing models on a national and international level
- Study adequate business models related to FOSS and identify the needs for new products and services
